EzineArticles: Where did they come up with 'MyInternetBusiness' as the name?

As featured on EzineArticles.com:

Entrepreneurs, stay at home moms, mlm’ers and network marketers of every denomination have been eagerly following the April 1st launch of ‘My Internet Business’.

A lot of people have been wondering…in an industry dominated by flashy, wealth-promising titles, why did the creator, Darren Gaudry, come up with ‘My Internet Business’ as the name?

Let’s look at some of the names of some top-tier internet businesses: Passport to Wealth, Roadmap to Riches, Easy Daily Cash, Carbon Copy Pro, etc. All of these promise great rewards and/or ease of use, and are certainly eye-grabbing to the target viewer, who is usually an overworked and frustrated individual currently failing at whatever MLM they are trying currently. The very names seem to suggest another chance, the passport or roadmap to wealth that the reader has been missing. My Internet Business makes no such promises, and the name does not leave the reader with that initial ‘By God this must be it!’ impression.

But Mr. Gaudry is no one’s fool, and he knows what he is doing. Darren Gaudry has covered every angle to making My Internet Business as lucrative as possible for members, as we are about to see. As a demonstration exercise, go to Google and type in ‘Passport to Wealth’ . You may see sites with titles such as, ‘Passport to Wealth Scam’, ‘Why Passport to Wealth Doesn’t Work’, ‘See Why I Left Passport to Wealth’, etc.

In reality, these are websites owned by competitors who are denouncing one business to promote their own. The websites talk about how bad the business the reader searched for is…how they or others got scammed, or how there are such better options.

Now ask yourself…what idiot is going to write,

‘My Internet Business is a Scam!’

Hah! Just by virtue of the title, anything bad a competitor says about My Internet Business will be perceived by the reader as them talking about their OWN internet business…thus making them sound foolish! I can see the headlines now…

‘Don’t Join My Internet Business!’

‘I Got Scammed by My Internet Business!’

‘See Why I Left My Internet Business!’

No business opportunity seeker is going to stop to read those! By choosing ‘My Internet Business’ as the company name, Darren Gaudry has all but eliminated this low-ball slander tactic that unscrupulous marketers use to discredit their competition. What a simple, yet ingenious idea! For more information about My Internet Business, please see the resource box below.
